Trajectory

His first steps were in the Club Atlético Antoniano de Lebrija and from the age of 11 in the quarry of Sevilla FC. He made his debut with the first squad in the 2009-10 season.

In the 2010-11 season he did not have enough minutes in the first team, led by coach Antonio Álvarez, and left on loan to FC Cartagena, of the Spanish Second Division, after a good performance he returned to Sevilla FC.

In the 2011-12 season and, after the arrival of coach Marcelino García Toral, he left on loan to AEK Atenas without a purchase option, accompanied by José Carlos, under the command of Manolo Jiménez, a technician who had already had him at the subsidiary from Sevilla FC.

In that same season, he is re-caught by Sevilla FC in the winter market after his good performances in the Greek team where he was chosen as the ideal eleven player in the league. In February 2014, he was transferred to Cardiff City Football Club from the Barclays Premier League.

After his brief stint in the Premier, the player raised in Nervión, returns to the Spanish League in the winter market of the 2014-2015 season, but this time with the Nasrid team, Granada Club de Fútbol. Days before he was training with Getafe CF, but his signing for the azulón team could not be finalized, for which he ended up at Granada.

Heading into the 2015-2016 season, he is part of the Getafe CF squad, a club that he could not save from relegation to the Second Division. In the 2016-2017 season, he achieved promotion to the First Division with Getafe CF, managing to be an important piece.

In February 2018 he left for Henan Jianye of the Chinese Super League.In July 2018 he returned to Spain to sign for UD Las Palmas of the Second Division for the next two seasons with an option to another.
In June 2019, he rescinded this contract, to shortly later sign for five seasons with Cádiz CF, also in the Second Division.
